"Excellent, delicious - a fantastic find. The hot chocolate utterly decadent, and food was so so tasty."
"We visited in a quiet rainy day. Idyllic really. Lovely rural area. Generous parking outside and good size sitting area inside. We only had coffee and some cakes so can't comment the rest of the menu but it looks lovely and will come back for a proper lunch meal soon. The service was polite and attentive. I can highly recommend it if you are passing by."
"10/10 Always have great soups, toasts, salads and cakes on offer. The coffee is some of the best near Inverness. Nice little shop that you can pop into before/after visiting the cafe."
"Epic. My wife and I were staying in Inverness and were looking for something with quality, healthy food. After we found the Google listing we headed straight to Wild Gorse and it was incredible. We would highly recommend; delicious food, great service, great setting. Please go; you won't be disappointed. Oh, and give the pesto cheese scones a try. They were incredible."
"Every time I’m up in the Highlands visiting family, a stop at Wildgorse Kitchen is a must! It’s set in the most peaceful spot and the homemade soup, sourdough and cakes are always amazing. The staff are so lovely — I walk in and they’re like “your usual?” Feels like a home away from home every time!"
"What a gem of a spot! We came for lunch and ended up staying longer to browse and shop. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with just the right mix of cosy and stylish. The Circa Botanical shop next door was an unexpected delight, so many thoughtful and well-curated items, perfect for gifts or just a treat for yourself. It made the whole visit feel like more than just a meal; it was an experience. I’ll definitely be back, both for the kitchen and the browsing; a real Highlands treasure!"
"If you’ve not been here before. Don’t event hesitate. The wonderful team at Wildgorse kitchen know exactly how to make you feel welcome. The team are absolutely fantastic and make the place a very enjoyable place to dine or even just crab a coffee. The decor is very classy with a relaxed setting with beautiful dried flowers and always change up their table decorations to the season. Great selection of music played classically on vinyl which you rarely see these days. Now the food, well let’s just say! These guys now what their doing in the kitchen. Very talented kitchen team carefully design their menu with seasonal flavours and the deli salad bar is all way full with new and fresh ingredients for beautifully constructed humble salad bowls. Packed with flavour and colour. Would highly recommend! They offer very upmarket topped sourdoughs which I believe change weekly. So keep an eye out for those and the soups are very creative and not just your average soups you see day to day. They also offer a good selection of baked goods which are delightful from cakes to fresh scones. Enjoyed nicely with their beautiful ground Coffee and speciality teas. Five stars!"
"The food was absolutely delicious and the decor was so beautiful and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best coffee shop in Highland."
